Rushton Triangular Lodge Guidebook
Merch-Misc

Overview
This illustrated guidebook discusses the extraordinary Rushton Triangular Lodge and provides a lively account of the turbulent times in which its Tudor builder lived. Although fiercely loyal to Queen Elizabeth I as head of state, Sir Thomas Tresham was imprisoned for his Roman Catholic beliefs. In the 1590s he built the Lodge as a testament to these beliefs. It is dominated by references to the number three, symbolic of the Holy Trinity, but its other symbolism is extensive and arcane, and much of it remains a mystery.
